everyone loves brownies and funny ways to eat food. so here's a browsicle.
a 2 in 1 dessert. a cakesicle and a brownie.
Ingredients
120 grams flour
100 grams sugar
120 grams butter
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking powder
a bit of salt
225 grams dark chocolate or baking chocolate
250g grams chocolate couverture
Instructions
brownie first:
melt chocolate + butter using your microwave (put in for 30 seconds, then again for 30 seconds. After that the chocolate should start melting on it’s own by just stirring. If not put inside again for 30 seconds)
beat eggs and sugar until fluffy
put in the (cooled) melted chocolate mixture
add some vanilla extract
fold in flour+ baking powder+ salt until combined
bake for 20 min at 180°C in the lower third of oven
make sure not to overbake. just stick in a knife into the brownie. trust me - you need it to come out sticky !!!
cakesicle second:
when the brownies are done baking put them out of the oven
now you can start crumbling
you know that you've baked them enough if the batter is still a bit sticky. that's what we need it to be. otherwise the cakesicle would fall apart.
next:
melt the chocolate couverture and coat the molds with one layer first
put the molds into the freezer for 2 minutes
now coat them with a second layer
make sure the layers are thin!
you don't want to only bite in chocolate with no brownie-parts.
last steps:
fill your cakesicle-molds with the brownie-crumble and top them with the rest of your melted chocolate
put them into your freezer for 10 minutes
make sure you're extra careful when filling the molds with the brownie-crumble.
you do not want the chocolate to brake underneath.
